Hall Walking - 6:00-7:30 a.m., Regular School Days

Sept. 13, 20, 27; Oct. 4, 11 - Girl's Volleyball for 4th-6th Graders, $10.

Sept. 19, 21, 23, 26, 28 - Homecoming Mini Dance Camp, $25

Tues., Sept. 26 - 55 Alive Drivers Class, 1:00-5:00, $22

Mon., Oct. 2 - 4-H After-School Adventures - Roller Coasters, 3:15-4:30, $2 per session payable to 4-H, Elementary Library.

Tues., Oct. 3 - ECFE Field Trip to Center Creek Orchard (for Families with Preschool Children), Meet at ECFE building at 9:00 a.m., $5 per person - Age 2 and under are free, Register at ECFE at 507-427-3159 by Sept. 30th

Oct. 3, 17, 24 - Adult Basic Sewing Class, 6-8 pm, $20, Register by Sept. 27

Wed., Oct. 11 - Family Fun Fair at the Fire Station, 5:00-6:30 pm, Mountain Lake Fire Station, Free light supper and book, For all children 0-12 accompanied by an adult.

Open Gym - Nov. 24, 25; Dec. 2, 9, 16, 22, 23, 26, 28, 29, 30; Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27; Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24; March 3, 10, 9:00-11:30 a.m., Enter through auditorium door.

Mon., Oct. 16 - Beginning Crochet Class, 6:30-8:00 pm, $5, Bring J hook and 4-ply yearn either cotton or acrylic), Register by Oct. 12.

Mon., Nov. 6 - Cottonwood County Coats for Kids, 5:30-7:30 pm, MUST pre-register by calling Public Health at 1-800-247-1401 or 507-831-1987 starting Oct. 9. Children must be present when picking up coats!

Mon., Nov. 6 - 4-H After-School Adventures - Bread in a Bag, 3:15-4:30, $2 per session payable to 4-H, Elementary Library.

Thurs., Nov. 9 - Care and Share's Kick-off to the Holiday Season, 6:30-7:30 pm, $10, At Sweet Fields Eatery (next to Care & Share)

Mon., Nov. 13 - Advanced Crochet Class, 6:30-8:00 pm, $5, Bring J Hook and 4-ply yarn either cotton or acrylic)

Tues., Nov. 14 - Fresh Spring Rolls, 6:30-8:30 pm, $12, High School Cooking Lab

Nov. 14, Dec. 5, Jan. 9, Feb. 6, March 6, April 3 - After School Sewing Club for 4th-6th Graders, 3:00-4:30, $15, Meet in cafeteria - followed by class in the High School Sewing Lab, Register by Nov. 6

Nov. 12, Dec. 19, Jan. 16, Feb. 13, March 13, April 10 - After School Sewing Club for 7th-12th Graders, 3:30-5:00, $12, Register by Nov. 13

UCARE members - UCare members may be eligible for a $15 discount on most Community Education classes. If a class is less than $15, the member may take the class free-of-charge. UCare for Seniors members are limited to one $15 discount per year. Members must be on UCare at the time of registration, and throughout the duration of the class. Members need to include their UCare ID number when registering.


Registration Process:

  • Mail in your registration to: Community Education, Mt. Lake Public School, Attention: Carla, PO BOX 400, Mountain Lake, MN  56159
  • Drop off your registration to Alisa in the Superintendent's Office.
  • Phone registration into Alisa at 507-427-2325, ext. 5

In the event a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, registrants will be notified and any prepaid fees refunded. 


Cancellation Policy - When the Mountain Lake Public School is closed, all classes will be canceled. Listen to Windom KDOM 1580 AM or 94.3 FM for weather related information.
